Defense applications often require assemblies built around specific electrical, mechanical, and installation requirements. MJM Industries manufactures custom defense cable assemblies and complex wire harnesses to customer specifications, incorporating the cables, connectors, materials, and manufacturing processes required for the application.
Depending on the design, assemblies can incorporate military-style connectors, NATO plugs, overmolding, potting and encapsulation, Class 3 wire processing, soldering, and other specialized processes.

Overmolded Solutions for Harsh Environments
Overmolding can help protect cable-to-connector interfaces from moisture, high temperatures, mechanical stress, and repeated handling while providing strain relief and supporting ingress protection. MJM Industries manufactures custom overmolded cable assemblies around the connector, cable construction, and environmental requirements of the application.
In-house engineering, machining, and molding capabilities allow MJM Industries to design and manufacture custom tooling for overmolded configurations. Potting and encapsulation provide additional protection where required.
